Musicians from all over the world arrive in Cardiff, Wales this month for the World Music Expo, the year's premier world music showcase event commonly referred to as WOMEX.
The incredible roster of talent scheduled to appear includes Sidi Toure from Mali, Cumbia All Stars from Peru, Ebo Taylor from Ghana, Hungary-based Vojasa, Ganesh-Kumaresh from India and South Korea's Jambinai. Musicians from Albania, South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, France, Morocco, Syria, USA, Argentina, Canada and many other nations will also perform.
Some of the artists representing Wales will be Cerys Matthews, Georgia Ruth, Catrin Finch, 9Bach and Ghazalaw which also includes members from India. Shows will take place in the heart of Cardiff on various stages at the Wales Millennium Centre and there'll also be late night DJ showcases featuring acts like Auntie Flo (UK), Mitu (Colombia) and Mr. Toubab & Cucurucha (France/Spain.)
