Headliners for this three-day blow-out include Korn, Alice in Chains, the Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Cheap Trick, Bush and Stone Sour. But that's just the beginning; among the 40 or so other scheduled acts are Lamb of God, Bullet For My Valentine, Love and Death, In Flames, Hollywood Undead, the Sword, Volbeat, Skillet, Sevendust and Papa Roach.

This festival is a benefit affair to raise money for those affected by the recent fertilizer explosion in West, Texas. SoulStock is a free Christian music festival that'll be held in Decatur's Point Mallard Park. Scheduled to appear are Jessa Anderson, Noah Cleveland, Grammy-winner Laura Story, rapper LP, Paradigm, Christa Jordan, Rush of Fools, Group 1 Crew and Audio Adrenaline. It seems like there's always a party going on in Lake Charles and the Downtown at Sundown events are huge block parties that'll take place at the new Streetscape project on Ryan Street.
