This is a great compilation of songs including "Bad to the Bone" (naturally) as well as Thorogood's covers of "Nobody But Me," "No Particular Place to Go," and "Wanted Man." In fact, it contains new recordings of all those songs in addition to a new recording of "New Boogie Chillun."
Certainly, I can't complain too much about a collection of Thorogood and The Destroyers. The new recordings (all 6 of them) are great, but I might have preferred that this collection run a little deeper. You can't go wrong with "New Boogie Chillun." It absolutely rocks. However, if I were making the call, I would like to see this collection run a little deeper to include tracks like "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" and "Get a Haircut." Still, George and The Destroyers are still delivering the goods and you need look no further than this 25th anniversary edition to see that.
