The nearly four-minute clip finds the pop star in the studio working with producers Pharrell Willams and Timbaland, both of whom played major roles in Timberlake's star-making 2002 debut, Justified.
In one scene, Timberlake points out the "country melody" of one of the new tracks, which features a trap beat and heavily Auto-Tuned vocals. "I guess I would describe it as 'modern Americana with 808s,' he says in describing the "wide range of sonics" found on Man of the Woods.
Later in the video, he goes on to talk about "those southern guitars and that sound that feels like heritage. That is me exercising my love for where I came from. But then you mix it with something modern, that's just like, where we are today. To me, if you can put those two things together, that's like an equation for life."
A selection of new songs are teased with snippets throughout the clip. Justin Timberlake's Man of the Woods is due to debut on Feb. 2. Watch the video

The 1992 accusations that Allen abused his 7-year-old-daughter, Dylan Farrow, have led two of Gomez's co-stars in the movie, Timothee Chalamet and Rebecca Hall, to donate the money earned working on the film to charitable organizations, according to People.
Teefy's comments came in response to an Instagram comment suggesting that she "make" Selena apologize for working with Allen. "Sorry, no one can make Selena do anything she doesn't want to," Teefy replied on a post that was originally about the recent passing of Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan. "I had a long talk with her about not working with him and it didn't click. Her team are amazing people. There is no fall person here. No one controls her. She makes all her own decisions. No matter how hard you try to advise. It falls on deaf ears." Read more

"Tonight, I will perform on Saturday Night Live with Halsey. This pinnacle performance will mark the end of my tenure with this incredible project. Three years ago, I started with a small artist named Halsey. Since then, I have supported the project through its rise, designing all the sounds for the live synth, bass, and keyboard parts, and performing them at every show for the past 3 years. I have been with Halsey from our our first show to 80 people in Los Angeles, to now having played six of the seven continents, and every major arena in the USA. It was my father's dream to play Madison Square Garden. We sold it out as a headliner, and played it 3 times since then.
"I have started a new web series that shines a spotlight on the chemistry that can occur between the most talented of this generation's pop artists and the most brilliant of this generation's jazz artists. The first episode can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/J_hVAkfAAUI and the later episodes will be broadcast on Quincy Jones' new jazz channel Qwest TV." Watch the episode
