I LOVED Bon Jovi growing up. They were the quintessential arena band. For as long as I've been a musician I wanted to write something that used a TalkBox the way they did.
So, recently, I broke down and bought one. The day it arrived I took it out of the box and hooked it up to my Nord Lead synth. I was messing around with it for just a few minutes before stumbling upon my Bon Jovi-esque "oh whoa whoa" melody.
I realized that it fit perfectly with a song I'd been making called "Ebb and Flow" that had been sitting in purgatory because it didn't have the right hook for it. Boom. Fresh idea brings an old song to life. Thanks, TalkBox!

The appearance marked his debut on the program, and Lil Uzi and his band performed the Luv is Rage 2 single with relaxed panache, yet the performance was imbued with a menacing vibe.
Decked out in a black leather jacket decorated with red graffiti, a Bad Religion T-shirt, a black hat and an inverted cross necklace, Lil Uzi sang in front of a coffin and roamed the set, which was bathed in dim red light. Check out the performance

The black and white clip was directed by Jim Wright on location at a ranch outside Thousand Oaks, California. In the video, Pardi is seen going through a typical day at the ranch, but at every turn he is reminded of a girlfriend who left him to go to the big city.
"She Ain't In It" is the latest track from Pardi's most recent full-length, California Sunrise, to receive a video treatment. Watch the clip

"I think we've really changed, conversationally, in the past 10 years," Perry said. "We've come a long way. Bisexuality wasn't as talked about back then, or any type of fluidity. If I had to write that song again, I probably would make an edit on it.
"Lyrically, it has a couple of stereotypes in it. Your mind changes so much in 10 years, and you grow so much. What's true for you can evolve." Read more

Student Destiny Paris detailed her good fortune on Instagram, explaining how Drake surprised her with the generous gift. "I applied to scholarships last year for which I had to write an essay. I received those scholarships and thought that was the end of it," Paris shared. "Apparently, my essay and my story made it to other departments. I was contacted this weekend about doing a video speaking about where I come from, things I've been through, and why it is so important for scholarship donors to continue to donate. This was the surprise the whole time. Drake told me that he has read great things about me and appreciates how hard I've worked through so many trials and decided to give me $50K for my tuition."
Paris shared a pair of photos with the rapper presenting her with a giant check. "THANK YOU SO MUCH!!' You don't understand what this means to me! I would've never imagined this happening to me. I'm just a girl from Denmark, SC that wants to MAKE IT and be somebody and for you to see my hard work means the world. Thank you so much. God I thank you. You are so great and amazing! Thank you for blessing me when I thought my hard work was going unnoticed. I'm living out my dreams. God's Plan." Read more and see the posts
