Carrie Underwood Announces New Album 'Cry Pretty'

After Carrie Underwood excited fans with her performance of her new single "Cry Pretty" at the 53rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, the country star has announced her new studio album.

Underwood will be releasing the new album, also called "Cry Pretty" on September 14th and it marks her first new studio record to be released under her deal with Capitol Records Nashville.

She had this to say, "At this point in my career, I feel stronger and more creative than ever. I think you can hear that in this new album. It's emotional, it's soulful, it's real, and we also have some fun on there too. I hope everyone loves it as much as I have loved making it."

The title track is already a massive success with over 1.3 million streams in the U.S. the first two dates of release. Check out her performance of the track at the ACM Awards here.

James Bay Releases New Music Video For 'Us'

James Bay has released a brand new music video for his latest single "Us." The track comes from his forthcoming sophomore album "Eclectic Light", which will be released on May 18th.

Bay had the following to say, "Touring my music means I've been lucky enough to meet people all over the world and witness the phenomenal strength of crowds. Gigs can be the greatest proof that positivity and strength comes from us all sticking together.

"I wrote this song to explore unity and inclusion. Looking through the lens of my own personal relationships, this song turned out to be a particularly important moment on the album for me." Watch the video here.

Lauryn Hill Announces Miseducation 20th Anniversary Tour

Lauryn Hill has announced that she will be launching a world tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut solo album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" and has revealed the North American leg of the trek.

She will be kicking of the U.S. and Canadian portion of the tour on July 5th at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, VA and wrap things up on October 5th in St Louis, MO at the Chaifetz Arena.

She had this to say about the upcoming dates, "This album chronicled an intimate piece of my young existence. It was the summation of most, if not all, of my most hopeful and positive emotions experienced to that date. I Loved and believed deeply in my community's ability to both Love and heal itself provided it received the right amount of support and encouragement." Read more including the dates here.

Jack Johnson Raises Half A Million For Fire And Flood Victims

(FCM) Jack Johnson revealed that he raised over $500,000 to support Thomas Fire and Flood recovery during his sold out Santa Barbara Bowl show. We were sent the following details:

Funds from Jack Johnson & Friends - a Benefit for the Community will be directed to United Way Thomas Fire & Flood Fund, and to local non-profits working on relief and recovery efforts in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. The March 18 concert donated 100% of profits, combined with contributions from the Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation, Goldenvoice/AEG, AXS, local businesses, fan donations, and Johnson's own personal contribution.

The incredible evening brought the community together to heal, alongside first responders who watched from side stage, memorable performances and collaborations from Johnson, Ben Harper, ALO, David Crosby, Kenny & Hana Loggins, Stewart Cole & Orpheo McCord (from Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros), and more. Post Malone Reveals Track and Guest Details For New Album

As Post Malone prepares to launch his summer headline tour featuring 21 Savage and SOB RBE, he has revealed the track and guest details for his forthcoming album.

His sophomore full-length studio release will be entitled "beerbongs & bentleys" and is scheduled to hit stores, digital retailers and streaming services on April 29th.

Run The Jewels' El-P Scoring Al Capone Biopic

Run The Jewels star El-P has signed on to compose the original score for the forthcoming Al Capone biopic Fonzo, which was written and being directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle).

The film's cast includes Academy Award nominee Tom Hardy, Linda Cardellini, Jack Lowden, Academy Award nominee Matt Dillon, and Golden Globe winner Kyle MacLachlan.

Trank had this to say, "Since I was fourteen years old, El-P's music has been one of the most important creative influences in my life. There's literally no greater honor for me than to collaborate with him today and bear witness to this next stage of his artistic journey."

The film began principal photography April 2 in New Orleans.
