Tomlinson arrived with his girlfriend, and allegedly grew frustrated when a photographer got too close. According to eyewitnesses, he pulled the photographer by his legs so they fell backward to the ground and hit their head. The LA Times reports the singer was charged with simple battery and released after posting $20,000 bond.
His team said to TMZ in a statement, "The paparazzi provoked and caused the altercation that occurred with Louis. It's not the first time that a paparazzi has created an altercation with a celebrity. While the altercation was going on with the paparazzi, three other individuals were attacking his girlfriend during this incident and he came to her defense." See video

The rapper faces charges including misdemeanor assault, attempted assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. Back in 2015 eyewitnesses told People and Page Six that a fight broke out between Banks and two security guards at a New York City nightclub: one male and one female.
Sources say neither recognized Banks and she became irate--screaming, cursing and allegedly using racial slurs. Though she was admitted to the club, another altercation reportedly occurred which led the security team to eject Banks from the venue. Read more

Plenty of big stars have earned the chart's top spot out of the gate: Some have even done it more than once. But Future became the first person ever to do it in rapid-fire succession, replacing his own number one with his next number one. HNDRXX marks the rapper's fifth number-one album overall.
Future joins an elite group of nine artists whose albums have occupied the number one and number two spots on the chart at the same time. The last to do so was Prince, whose albums posthumously climbed the charts after his death last year. Read more

The rapper claimed fans should stop waiting for Minaj's response to "ShETHER" because the diss track was already a response. "She started it," Remy explained, adding later, "she's been doing this to a lot of females, from Lil Kim to Mariah to Taylor and no one says anything."
Remy added Minaj's behavior has been downright petty over the years. "It was the behind-the-scenes things that you people would never know about, as far as trying to keep me off of red carpets, trying to make sure awards don't go to me or she's not going to be in attendance, or trying to get people to make bad reports about my album sales--or just anything that I'm doing to make me look less and make her look better," she explained. "When you're trying to stop my bag, when you're trying to stop me from taking care of my children, now I have a problem with that."
As for why she was dressed like she was attending a funeral, Remy curtly said, "My grandmother told me to never speak ill of the dead." Watch the interview clip

"Y'all gotta stop with this 'angry' s, going through drugs and all this other s" he said. "I'm tired of reading about some s soon as I've got something popping. In a second video, Brown accused other rappers of spending too much time and money making their studios into "time capsules." He shared, "My weed and my work. That's all I need." Watch the clips

The singer announced the news on stage before performing the heartbreaking ballad "Someone Like You." "I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record," Adele said.
"Because as bad as a breakup can be and as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth, and I am addicted to that feeling. Obviously, I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now."
She added while the song "Someone Like You" is "heartbreaking," it is also about "being grateful and feeling blessed to have the chance to have certain people in your lives." Read more and watch the video

Close friends and family of the band have struggled with addiction over the last few years. I feel like this is a common theme for many of us, and there's already plenty of songs focussed on this topic. But it felt like everyone was taking the approach of condemning the addicted, or placing ultimatums on them.
So with this one I decided to shift the perspective. One of my best friends told me to read an epic book called 'Chasing The Scream' by Johann Hari which helped me navigate some kind of understanding of this heated topic.
If you don't dig books there's a great five minute cartoon documentary online by the clever folk who do 'in a nutshell'. I had a hunch the current war on drugs stunk, but I didn't think it was quite this rife. Hari's research and story blew my mind, so there's reflections of the book throughout this song.
This song was written around vocals - but not initially. After finishing the demo we realised the music didn't complement the raw urgency of the singing. So we deleted everything except my voice and rebuilt the song again from scratch.
We hoped it would improve things by making the groove gallop along like an aggressive version of Americas' 'Horse With No Name' but because we had no drummer at the time, our bass player Joel was programming the drums with midi. He did this weird thing where he wanted to add triplet drum fills, but the midi grid lines in 4/4 timing was problematic, so he changed the meter to a 6/8 swing groove and rebuilt the song from there.
We hope that the content and music complement each other to convey the feeling and message. We realised that growing up we were more likely to listen to the ideas and concepts of our favourite singers or bands rather than the points of view given to us from traditional forms of authority. Such charged, passionate and positive messages have resonated with us through artists such as Midnight Oil, Cog, Dead Letter Circus, Pink Floyd, Rage Against The Machine, U2, and Kendrick Lamar. If we can get close to delivering stories with some heart, connecting with people and even spark a positive idea, then that will be success for us.
Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself here and learn more about the album
