The artist suffered a stroke on May 4 while at home in her Hurricane Mills, Tennessee home. She was admitted to a hospital at the time and is currently going through rehab, reports The Boot.

On Thursday (June 22), the country star announced he has recovered and will resume his tour. Stapleton posted an image of himself holding up his finger in a cast with the caption: "On my way to Tulsa where this will come OFF & it will be ON!"

"There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" appears on Mendes' latest album Illuminate, which came out, September 23, 2016, and topped the Billboard album chart.
