In actuality, Sheeran was using a loop pedal, which allowed one guitar segment to repeat while he played another one and it's a process he has used for a long time, but apparently, not everyone knows that.
"Think it would have given a better atmosphere if Ed Sheeran had employed a band instead of a backing track?" one festivalgoer wrote on Twitter. Hours later, Sheeran clarified the situation on social media. "Never thought I'd have to explain it, but everything I do in my live show is live, it's a loop station, not a backing track," he wrote, before adding that he had a great night. Read more

It was leaked that Swift lent her songwriting gifts to the Harris-Rihanna hit and she subsequently confirmed it, as a new romance with actor Tom Hiddleston heated up. In a new interview with British GQ, Harris now admits he was impulsive and unprofessional. "It was completely the wrong instinct," Harris admitted. "I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled. It felt like things were piling on top of me and that was when I snapped."
"Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though," he tweeted. "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do," he wrote in a follow-up tweet that was liked almost 3,000 times within half an hour. "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy [Perry] ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it." Read more

"I want to address an insensitive comment I made on a very sensitive issue, especially in a minority dominated industry like hip hop," he wrote. "'My entire empire's backbone is led by two of the strongest people I know and they happen to be women, my mother and sister," he continued. "The operations wouldn't run without them and I have the highest regard and respect for women in this industry. I have a daughter myself, my most cherished gift in the world."
He insisted he has learned from his "mistake" and may change his unspoken (until recently) rule. 'My comment is not a reflection of my beliefs on the issue," he said. [It's] a mistake I regret. I hope to use my mistake, my platform, and the community to create positive discussion to implement change on a very important issue--respect for the ones who stand up to say, 'Hey that isn't right.' Now it's time to accept responsibility and all do better." Read more

While one fan referred to the figure as "FIERCE," the vast majority of fans on Twitter are sharing the image and pointing out how it looks nothing like the pop star they call Queen Bey.
Some fans are pointing out how Kylie Jenner's wax model looks identical to the reality star, but the "Sorry" singer looks like a combination of Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Kesha and more.
Even Michelle Lee, editor-in-chief of Allure, chimed in on the issue, posting side-by-side photos of other wax figures that also don't do Beyonce any justice. Check out the wax figure and posts

Costa Rican prosecutors said in a statement that the man, Caicedo Lopez, made credible threats online in Arabic and police reacted, reports La Nacion. The concert was staged without incident.
Speaking with the Costa Rican newspaper, the young man's grandmother painted a different picture. "If you see him, he is a very shy person, he does not smoke or smoke, he does not go to parties, he does not go to concerts, he is very homely, he is a good boy, very calm. Which happened to me, but it was a joke, even innocent, of a person who is very calm. But he will be responsible for his actions and his mistake." Read more

First off, The Witness declined to join the public nudity. '[Orlando] asked me if I wanted to be [naked] and I was like, 'ah no''" she told an Australian radio interviewer. 'You know when you're dating someone sometimes, it's exciting to be like, 'Oh, should we try and make out over here in this place' or what have you, and I was just not in the mood. I saved it for the boat."
Bloom, however, took a more exhibitionist approach. 'He wanted to show off for the people on the shore," Perry recalls. 'He thought it was funny!" Perry added that Bloom was in the dark about the splash the revealing photos made online. 'Oh oh, it was so funny because I was explaining Twitter and social media to him for weeks because he had taken a break and then all of a sudden he was, like, trending number one on Twitter." The singer has refuted police reports and spoke out on social media. "The truth will come out," he tweeted. In a public Twitter rant, Carter advised followers to "Walk away from gossip and verbal defamation. Speak only the good you know of other people and encourage others to do the same."
Additionally, he released a statement about his arrest, promising to make up the shows he missed. After Carter's arrest, his older brother Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys tweeted words of encouragement. "To my brother: I love u no matter what & if u feel the need to reach for help, I am here and willing to help you get better. Family isn't always easy, [but] we're all here for you."
Aaron didn't appreciate Nick's public plea for help: "If my own blood (Nick) truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn't he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum? That's not cool at all to use me for his PR and kick me while I am down." It didn't stop there. Read more

Portions of the letter (which is now up for auction) are redacted but Tupac wrote that while an interracial relationship could help Madonna's career, he worried about hurting his reputation in the eyes of black audiences.
"Can u understand that? For you to be seen with a black man wouldn't in any way jeopardize your career, if anything it would make you seem that much more open & exciting," he wrote. "But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my 'image' I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was. I never meant to hurt you."
Inflammatory statements Madonna made in the press didn't make matters easier, Pac wrote: "An interview where you said 'I'm off to rehabilitate all the rappers & basketball players' or something to that effect, those words cut me deep seeing how I had never known you to be with any rappers besides myself," he wrote. "It was at this moment out of hurt and a natural instinct to strike back and defend my heart and ego that I said a lot of things'Can you feel me?" Read more

In the years that followed, through his time spent with One Direction and into his budding solo career, one thing has remained constant between the two artists -- a little friendly teasing.
Over the weekend the pair were in the building at The Voice Australia in Sydney and were snapped in a video for Katy's Instagram story which she captioned, '@niallhoran stage 5 clinger" and jokingly accuses him of following her around everywhere. In the video, he agrees.
Post show, Niall was interviewed by Australia's The Project TV and was asked about that video, as well as another interview in which Katy flat-out says Niall is 'always trying to get my number to maybe flirt with me, but, like, 'I could babysit you. I'm like your mom.'"
Niall once again took the joke in stride, addressing Perry directly while laughing, "Katy, please stop being mean to me." "She's just finding any excuse now to just patronize me and go around spreading rumors about me," he continued. "I just want to be her friend." Read more

In the photos, the entire front end of the car was destroyed, in what looks like a head-on impact. Despite the severity of the crash, Krystal assured her fans that everyone was alright, but emphatically urged people to never drink and drive.
"Our 4th turned pretty horrific," she wrote in her post's caption. "Hensley, Drew and I were on the way to watch fireworks on the 4th. A drunk driver almost took the lives of my entire family. We all survived the wreck but it's gonna take some time to heal. Keep us in your prayers. Hug your babies and spouses tight. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE." Check out the post

Lamar collaborated with her on her "Doves in the Wind" track. SZA remarked that the rapper is "amazing" and" always helping [her] level up to be better and to want more." During the interview, she defended the DAMN. rapper about certain lyrics in his "Humble" track. The controversial lyrics in question, are when Lamar raps, "I'm so ....sick and tired of the Photoshop/Show me something natural like afro on Richard Pryor/Show me something natural like *** with some stretch marks."
While many see these lines as Lamar speaking out against unrealistic body expectations in the industry, certain detractors view them as misogynist. "How is that misogyny if he's supporting positive body image? I think that's so weird, and it's reaching," SZA commented. Read more

Who cares about your lawn chairs? You can get new ones!"
