Strangers in love was one of the first songs I ever wrote. I wrote it while I was on vacation and once I got one line, I just kept writing and it led me to finishing the song within 30 minutes or so. The thing that really inspired me the most was the feeling of love. I started writing the song as almost a breakup song, with the feeling of there's nobody like them or how happy you were when you were with one another. As I started writing the chorus I was trying to think of a catchy line or phrase and it came across my mind about putting a whole plot twist on the song. "What if they were in love but they just didn't know it?" I started to build this story line around the idea, which is how we later came up with the plot for the video. Parts of the song are talking about how you think that they're "the one" because no matter what your doing your always looking for them in someone else. "("Wherever I go I'll be look-in for you") it gives the listener an idea about how i am feeling about someone but then also putting the twist on the mystery behind it. I think this song is a situation that anyone can relate too about having feelings for someone or just thinking someone is cute and not having the guts to go up to them!
