Other highlight performers at the Xcel Energy Center event included 3RDEYEGIRL, Tori Kelly, Jessie J and Nicole Scherzinger. Despite a venue change and last-minute cancellations by John Mayer, Christina Aguilera and Anita Baker, reports the BBC.
The concert included performances and speeches by the late singer's friends, family, collaborators and former bandmates. R&B act Mint Condition performed "America," "DMSR," and "When Doves Cry," while pop stars Jessie J sang "Nothing Compares 2 U" and Nicole Scherzinger covered "Nasty Girl" and "Baby I'm a Star."

Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard set up the introduction by taking a second to talk about their longtime Backstreet Boys fandom. They stood on a separate, smaller stage, and as they went back and forth about the boy band, the Backstreet Boys appeared on the main stage to perform their 1997 single, "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)."
More than just offering the crowd one of their own, they stuck around to sing FGL's song "God, Your Mama, and Me" with Kelley and Hubbard. It was just the first of many surprises that night. Nelly came out to perform "Cruise" with the boys and Jake Owens showed up to sing "Sun Daze" (via Rolling Stone).
Will FGL's love for the Backstreet Boys translate into a future collaboration between the groups? The time seems certainly seems ripe. Watch "God, Your Mama, and Me"

"I think Nathan is just his number one groupie," Caleb added. In addition to the tattoos, Harry also reportedly gave Nathan a guitar, which Caleb suspects was probably "a gift of love." See photos of their time together

This isn't the first time some of the rapper's fans will be hearing his eighth studio album, though. Earlier this month, The Game posted the record in its entirety on his YouTube page, but then promptly removed the tracks with no explanation. Now, fans can listen without fear of the songs mysteriously disappearing.
The album includes the bonus track "All Eyez," which features Jeremih as well as The Game's ode to Wu-Tang Clan, "I Grew up on Wu-Tang." It's no secret that Wu-Tang are one of his biggest influences and on the track he even samples a Raekwon verse from 'C.R.E.A.M." Read more and listen to the album in its entirety

"The Nobel Prize for Literature is yet another step towards immortality for Bob Dylan," Baez wrote in a Facebook post. "The rebellious, reclusive, unpredictable artist/composer is exactly where the Nobel Prize for Literature needs to be."
Meanwhile on Twitter, Tom Waits released a brief statement commending Dylan for the landmark prize. "It's a great day for Literature and for Bob when a Master of its original form is celebrated. Before epic tales and poems were ever written down, they migrated on the winds of the human voice and no voice is greater than Dylan's." Read more

In the short excerpt Zayn reveals how going solo allowed him to pursue a new direction: "Every lyric I've ever written has a story behind it. All the hard work that went into the creation of Pillowtalk, was worthwhile because, as soon as it was finished, I intuitively felt I was on the right path.
"It was a sick cut, nailing the exact sound I wanted to capture in my music. I was also able to sing about a subject that I hadn't really been able to go near while I was in One Direction: sex." Read more
