The release will also feature an unreleased edit of 'Rubber Ring." The two songs were written and recorded during the band's The Queen is Dead album. "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" was released on that album, and when it was released as a single, "Rubber Ring" was the B-side.
These 2016 additions from the vault will lend depth and context to the final edits fans enjoyed in 1985. Morrissey even contributed artwork for the single's cover. Read more

Cummerbund claims to have spent "over two hours" working on the project, and while it all starts a little shakily, by the time the chorus kicks in at the 45-second mark we're frankly in awe of his ambition and technique.

Vocalist and guitarist James Hetfield recently said Metallica didn't keep any unused riffs after completing work on the record. He said: "Once an album is finished the box of riffs is thrown away. We use the best.
"There's no reason to save it if it's not good - we'll write new stuff. I'm very interested in moving forward." He added: "It was difficult, having 800 riffs on my phone or my computer, and all I wanted to do was, 'Let's write a new one now. Let's just do it.'
"There's something magical that happens when Lars and I get together and I plug into a loud, crunchy guitar sound. It moves me and I can create riffs." Watch the video

The two sang Parton's iconic 1973 song "Jolene" along with a cappella group Pentatonix. Parton and Cyrus traded verses, but came together harmonically on the chorus.
Thanks to Pentatonix's combined voices, the performance didn't require any instruments, and, if anything, Parton and Cyrus' vocals stood out against the group's lower and upper registers, all of which resulted in a physically moving rendition of the song. Check out the full performance

During a Purpose World Tour stop at London's O2 Arena, Bieber teased and educated his fans about why he's decided to stay away from the 'gram. It started in a Socratic question-and-answer format: "Who thinks I should get my Instagram back?" he mused. Naturally, the crowd of Beliebers went nuts. Then he brought down the hammer.
'Nah, I don't want to get my Instagram back," Bieber then said. 'Instagram is for the devil. I think hell is Instagram. I'm, like, 90 percent sure." Shinoda says: "We were working on images for the cover of our first album, and we made it to represent the duality of the band's sound - the intersection of contrasting elements, and the hard-versus-soft tension in our band's music.
"It's an image that's synonymous with the band's name at this point, and one that has become a cornerstone of our group's visual language over the years." Read more

The video features shots of sexy women, the Atlanta skyline at night and the two MCs rapping in an empty warehouse. "Shake It Fast" is an ode to booty and the video dives right into that theme, offering viewers one massive twerking contest operating under the guise of the ultimate pool party. Between the lunch trays of marijuana, the stacks of cash and the ample women in barely there bikinis, the brothers clearly want to put a new twist on Sunday Funday. In true Rae Sremmurd fashion, the video pops thanks to hyper-colored shots that make neon pinks, greens and yellows practically explode off the screen.
"Shake It Fast" features Juicy J who appears in the video even though he seems inappropriately dressed for the pool party. While he wears t-shirts in some shots, he's most often featured in a sweater. Read more and watch the video

I wrote the song "lose count" on a night I felt very lonely. I turned on some candles sat at my piano and started to play around with some chords. I started humming some melodies over them and scribbled down my feelings and thoughts.
It had almost been two and a half months since I last saw my boyfriend and it was really starting to take a toll on me. At the time, a lot of my girlfriends had boyfriends and were constantly with them, which really didn't help my loneliness.
The only time I got to speak to my boyfriend was sometimes on Skype since I was living in Boston and busy with college in the day, and he was in Nashville perusing his music career and working in the evenings.
I remember so well the moment when we gathered enough money to see each other. As soon as the flights were booked I set a countdown clock on my phone with a picture of us, telling me how much time I had to wait to be back in his arms again. When we finally saw each other it was like a very special date and the whole world seemed brighter and for a brief moment it felt like time stood still.
He was my first real love and I had never felt such strong feelings for someone.
Throughout our long distance relationship, I had friends, family and strangers tell me what I should be doing. Some were very supportive of the decision we had made; others thought it was ridiculous and bound to fail. Although I hadn't asked anyone for their opinion, I kept receiving their views on my love life. The whole song is about people telling me how I should deal with it, and me telling them that nothing mattered because the feelings I felt when I was with him were greater than any sadness I felt when we were apart.
The song is about losing count of time when one is in love and that true love that can endure anything no matter the obstacles.
Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself
