The project has had its ups and down since Cornell teamed with the former RATM members. Last March, after spending months in the studio recording music together the band split up, literally hours after it was announced they were going to be a mainstage act on this years Ozzfest. The official reason for the split was that management from the two camps didnt see eye to eye. Some more cynical people speculated that it was because they didnt want to go on the Ozzfest.
That is all history now as the band has reformed with a unified manager working for all of the members. Most of the original recordings from the new group, produced by Rick Rubin have made their way onto the net and the band is reportedly working on more material for their debut album that are expected to be released by Epic early next year.
