It looks like 2003 will be the Year of the Eagles. The Southern California country rock legends plan to release a new studio album sometime in 2003.
The group is currently working on the new studio album, which will be their first since 1979s The Long Run. It appears at press time that the group will bypass the major label system and release the album independently on their own label, Eagles Recording Co..
Although the album isnt expected to hit stores until the second half of next year, The Eagles manager, Irving Azoff, is putting together an 80 date stadium tour for the group. With the first leg to kick off in early May. The tour will be broken up into two legs. A 40 date spring/summer tour and a 40 date fall tour.
