U2s performance at the Slaine Castle in Dublin, Ireland will be broadcast across North America later this year in a primetime concert special for CBS. The television special airing will coincide with the release of the forthcoming U2 album set for sometime later this year and will include the concert footage as well as some behind-the-scenes coverage of the Grammy Award winning group.
Also planned for CBS primetime, a concert
special for Celine Dion (or as we call her here at antiMUSIC, Sea Lion).
Dions CBS special will be directed by Franco Dragone (Cirque du Soleil's
O and Mystere) and will air around the same time as she debuts her Las
Vegas show at Caesars Palace, portions of which will be included in the
special according to press reports.
