As we reported last week, former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach was arrested at a New Jersey bar after getting into an altercation with a bartender after the bartender refused to let Bach take a drink with him when he went outside to have a smoke. Reports of the incident had Bach threatening to shoot the bartender and asking police to arrest him.
Bach was arrested for making terrorist threats (his threats about shooting the bartender) as well as drug possession because officers reportedly found two five grams bags of marijuana and several packs of rolling papers on Bach when the arrested him.
Once at the police station Bach reportedly yelled at the officers who were booking him, "F*** you, cops, you're all a bunch of f***ing idiots." When asked if he knew why he had been arrested, the police say that Bach responded, "Yeah, because I like to smoke a lot of weed."
Because of the negative publicity, Bach issued a statement on his official website reminding fans that he is innocent until proven guilty. It appears that Bach didnt appreciate the negative spin some journalist and fans put on the story. An example is a post made on the original news story by one antiMUSIC reader, which said, Sebastian is one stupid mother trucker. That post being an obvious jab at the singers frequent use of the mother trucker term on his VH1 show Forever Wild.
Here is Sebastians comment in its entirety,
There is a report in the press about an unfortunate incident that occured[sic]
3 nights ago in a restaurant . In this country one is presumed innocent
until proven guilty , & I ask everyone to consider that , when reading
press reports about the incident . I look forward to proceeding with this
matter in a legal setting , where the truth will become known . Yours Sincerely
, Sebastian Bach
