Ozzfest mastermind Sharon Osbourne announced this morning (3-13) on Los Angeles radio station KROQ that Civilian has been confirmed to take part in this years North American Ozzfest.
Civilian is the new group that features former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell as well as the remaining members of the Rage Against The Machine. There is still no word yet on when Civilians debut album will hit the stores but speculation has it that Epic may release as soon as this summer.
Also confirmed for both the US and UK Ozzfest tours is Lost Prophets who will be supporting their album The Fake Sound Of Progress.
It also looks like Adema may have a slot on the main stage at Ozzfest this year as well. Adema whose self-titled debut album has just been certified gold by the RIAA is currently on the road with the SnoCore Rock tour along with Alien Ant Farm, Local H, Glassjaw and others.
Also in the rumor department, Rob Zombie just may be the headliner of the second stage, although that hasnt been confirmed yet.
We will keep you Posted on Ozzfest developments
as the come out.
