Backstreet Boy Nick Carter was arrested Tuesday night at a Tampa, Florida nightclub for refusing to follow a police officers� order to leave.
The 21-year-old singer was charged Wednesday morning with a misdemeanor count of resisting/opposing a law enforcement officer without violence. The police were called out to the Pop City nightclub two times Tuesday night after fights broke out between patrons. According to Fox News, Carter was involved in an argument with a women when the police arrived the second time to arrest the brawlers and restore peace. The police tried to intervene in the argument between Carter and the unnamed women, telling Carter to leave the club several times. When Carter failed to follow the original orders go home, police �officers told him to leave by �the count of 3� or he would be arrested. Carter continued the argument and was arrested.�
Carter was arrested, handcuffed and placed in a Tampa Police Department squad car. He was later released on his own recognizance after being sited by the Tampa Police early Wednesday morning.
