Ramones Tribute Album Update - DV8/Columbia Records have announced more artist who are participating in the Rob Zombie helmed tribute album to the Ramones. Confirmed contributors include Rob Zombie, Eddie Vedder, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Marilyn Manson, Offspring, Green Day, Motorhead, Rancid, Billy Corgan, and Static-X.  More artists are expected to contribute to the project but have yet to be confirmed. 

Ozzfest 2002 UK Update - Ozzfest 2002 will hit the UK on May 25th at Donington Park. Ozzy will headline the show which is expected to feature performances by Tool, System of a Down, Slayer, Cradle of Filth and about 20 other artists.  The Donington Park show is being sponsored by the British metal magazine Kerrang! And will be broadcast live across the UK on BBC Radio 1. 

Details on the North American leg of the annual music festival are expected in the coming weeks, thus far System of a Down have been confirmed to headline.  

Worldpop is reporting: 

Limp Bizkit and Eminem have reportedly baried the hatchet and are teaming up on a new song entitled "New World Order". The song is supposedly based on the current US War on Terror and the Hunt for Osama Bin Laden. Fred Durst raps the part of an American GI hunting the terrorist leader Bin Laden who is portrayed by Eminem.  When and where the track will be used is anyone�s guess at this point.

�Resident Evil� Soundtrack info - The soundtrack of the sci-fi/ action/ horror flick �Resident Evil� will hit stores on Mar. 12th from Roadrunner Records and will include tracks from Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Coal Chamber, Adema, Fear Factory, Static-X, Rammstein, Mudvayne, and Saliva. Some of the tracks will be remixes or previously unreleased material.
