It�s only February and already the summer tour season is heating up. First, we learned last week that System of a Down was tapped to headline Ozzfest 2002 and now we are hearing various reports that the Vans Warped Tour 2002 is taking shape.
According to press accounts Bad Religion, NOFX and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones have been selected to headline this summer�s Warped tour, which should kick off in June.
Other bands that have reportedly signed on for the tour include New Found Glory, Reel Big Fish, Ozma, MxPx, Good Charlotte, Flogging Molly, Something Corporate, The Casualties, and Lagwagon.
An announcement of the official roster
and dates are expected soon. This year the tour returns to the full control
of Vans who bought back the 70% interest in the tour previously held by
Yahoo�s Launch Media.
