The New York Post is reporting that Kurt Cobain�s family is shopping a collection of the late singer�s journals with publishing companies. Cobain�s journals are said to include drawings, essays and other material by Cobain. So far the only public unveiling of the journals� content has been through the �Heavier Than Heaven� Cobain biography written by Charles R Cross. Cross obtained excerpts of the journals to include in the book from Cobain�s widow Courtney Love.
Love made headlines last week after an
interview conducted by Carrie Fisher aired. During the interview Love told
Fisher that she had wished she had never married Kurt because her daughter
now has to live with the stigma of the Cobain name. Which is ironic considering
the headlines Love has been making lately in relations to the battle between
her and her late husband�s bandmates over the rights to Nirvana�s material.
Not to mention that logic tells us if she hadn�t married Kurt than her
daughter would not have been conceived, so it really is a moot point.
