Gallagher went to Germany with a perfect smile but a group of Italians changed that. According to witnesses the trouble began around 2:00 a.m. Sunday in the disco of the Muenchner Hof hotel in Munich, where the drunken members of the group and their entourage began pushing each other around and one member crashed onto a table occupied by five Italians. When the Italians attempted to lift the fallen member up, the rest of the group pounced on them.
Security broke up the fight and asked the brawlers to leave the grounds but as soon as both sides got outside the fight resumed and the police were called. According to Munich Police, Oasis frontman resisted arrest and assaulted one of the officers who were called in to break up the fight.
Gallagher along with other members of the group and their entourage were detained overnight for questioning under suspicion of assault, resisting arrest and damage to property by the Munich Police department. Contrary to earlier reports, that Liam could end up in jail for two years if convicted, a state procecuter told Reuters that if he is charged Gallagher will most likely receive a summary fine.
Liam Gallagher came out of the fight with several broken teeth according to Police and the group has been forced to cancel the remaining dates on their German tour because Gallagher had to return to the UK to undergo surgery to fix his broken smile.
