Jackson was in court again Tuesday to resume testimony in the $21 million dollar lawsuit brought against him for canceling planned millennium concerts.
Jackson arrived at the courthouse dressed in a white satin vest and tie, wearing a white sock over one of his feet and walking with crutches. When asked about the sock and the crutches Jackson explained to reporters, "It is a spider bite. It is real bad. If I showed it to you, you'd be shocked. It hurts very much right now as I speak."
It was supposedly a garden-variety spider that bite the popstar, not one of his pet tarantulas.
The strangeness continued once inside the court as Jackson goofed around by making funny faces at a photographer and made horns above his head with his fingers.
Jackson is being sued by German concert promoter Marcel Avram, who claims that the popstar breached contract by canceling several concerts including two millennium New Years Eve concerts in Australia and Hawaii. During his testimony, Jackson claimed that it was Avram who called off the concerts during a phone call in late 1999. I definitely know I got that call because it pretty much shook me up," said Jackson. Avrams attorneys claim that the call never took place.
