MTV is reporting that Linkin Park has been added to this year�s incarnation of the Family Values Tour.  

According to the MTV report Linkin Park will take the third slot on the tour behind Staind and headliners Stone Temple Pilots.  Two more slots will be filled with �unknown� bands.  

Mums the word in the Family Values camp; tour organizers are not ready to announce the official lineup but did confirm that the tour would hit the road in October.  

Linkin Park is currently enjoying the limelight on Ozzfest�s mainstage as the tour rages across North America.  Staind�s second major label release, �Break The Cycle�, has been flying out of stores. The disc spent three weeks at no. 1 on the Billboard Charts before being relegated to the second spot by the new Blink-182 release.  Stone Temple Pilots released their highly anticipated fifth album, �Shangri-La Dee Da�, last week.
