Only in America could it happen. The next special celebrity
edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? will feature a diverse group of
music personalities each playing for their favorite charities.
Could it be Lars, Gene Simmons, and The Backstreet Boys, Regis? Thats right Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich will square off against KISSs Gene Simmons plus Nick Carter and Howie Dorough on the ABC hit gameshow.
If that wasnt weird enough Sisqo, Emily Robinson of Dixie Chicks fame and Sugar Rays Mark McGrath will also compete for a minimum of $32,000 going to each participants charity of choice.
Will Paul be Genes lifeline? Will Louis Perlman save the day for the Backstreet Boys? Will Lars be asked Name the controversial file sharing program that spurred copyright lawsuits in the year 2000. It might also be fun to watch Regis ask several of the contestants, Who coined the phrase 15 minutes of fame? (Answer: Andy Warhol) It should be interesting, but it might be more fun to see them on Jeopardy where the questions are really tough.
The shows will air on ABC on February 11th and 14th.
