Pollstar has released the results of the top grossing tours of 2000. Surpassing previous sales records, the Top 100 tours brought in a staggering $1.5 billion dollars last year.
Tina Turner blew away the competition in 2000, the Diva�s farewell tour brought in $80.2 million for her retirement fund. Following close behind was N sync who took $76.4 million to the bank from their live performances.
Concert favorites Dave Matthews Band and KISS with their never-ending farewell tour landed in third and fourth place with grosses of $68.2 and $62.7 million. Metallica ($42 million) and Britney Spears ($40.5 million) rounded out the Top 10.
