SFX the promoters of Aerosmiths Just Push Play 2001 tour have announced the first set of dates. The first leg of the planned 48-city tour will hit the eastern US before heading west. Things will kick off in Hartford Connecticut on June 6th.
There has been some concern expressed with the Aerosmith faithful over various issues running from high-ticket prices, the outsourcing of songwriting tasks and a recent transfer of operations of the official fan club from Fan Asylum to Fansrule, Inc. Some fan club members are concerned that their membership privilege of priority tickets sales will not materialize due to the confusion caused by changes to Aero Force One with current memberships and renewals not being properly transferred to the new fan club operators.
Representatives from Fansrule have assured Aero Force One members that their full membership benefits are still in force. Part of the confusion was caused by the official fan club website being down, according to Fansrule this was due to an ISP outage in the San Francisco area but as of this writing the website seems to be up and running with announcements for members to confirm their contact information so that they can partake in the priority seating ticket buys. Fan Club members can log onto at aeroforceone.com to confirm their membership information.
