TYPE O NEGATIVE, "...the decade's best American doom-metal band," (per the Village Voice) have some things to <gasp> CELEBRATE!  They just released a compilation of their most successful tracks on Halloween 2000 and they are doing a mini-tour to promote the release!
    
Their Best-Of release, titled THE LEAST WORST OF TYPE O NEGATIVE, promises to be a must-have. 

"We are releasing a look back at our 'Decade of Depression' in CD-form. The album includes
unreleased tracks, very rare tracks and other misc. tracks," says drummer Johnny Kelly of the
record on the band's newly-launched website www.typeonegative.net.
