They are about to step things up a notch by joining the Creed/Sevendust tour on June 5th in Nampa, Idaho.
The tour is in support of their current album, The State, available on Road Runner Records. The single from album, "Leader of Men" has reached the Top 10 on the radio charts - Currently at #9 on the Active Rock Chart and #10 on Mainstream Rock Chart.
While Nickelback may be a new name to many U.S. rock fans they are no stranger to fans in their native Canada. In 1999 they released "The State" independantly with the single "Leader of Men" reaching the Top 20 charts there. Road Runner quickly signed them and released the album to the U.S. market.
So stay tuned, you haven't heard the last of these guys.
