Pearl Jam is one of the few major label artists that allows their fans to record live shows and trade them with other fans. Unfortunately, a hefty bootleg business has grown out of this practice. With some bootleggers mass producing live Pearl Jam recordings and charging fans as much as $50 a piece. Pearl Jam does not like seeing their fans get ripped off, so they have announced plans to record all of the shows on their current European tour and release them in 2 disc sets.
The official bootleg recordings will be available on www.tenclub.net and www.pearljam.com in August. The 2 disc sets will be available at retail outlets soon after.
