There has been wide spread speculation that this would be the last tour from the legendary grease painted rockers. Simmons neither confirms nor denies these rumors stating, "As to what it's called, we don't have a clue. Honestly. We don't know whether or not it's going to be called 'The Farewell Tour' or 'The Jews In Space Tour,' which I, I prefer as a title." He also says that the tour will begin sometime this spring.
Wide spread rumors on the net have said that the band has been planning a Farewell tour where they would record the shows for a new installment of KISS Alive and ride out of the business in a blaze of glory. Simmons had said in the past that such plans sound like a blaze of gas, but he also said that if the band ever regrouped and put the makeup back on it would be for the money.
Adding
fuel to the fire of retirement rumors KISS will be auctioning off almost
all of their memorabilia from the past 27 years. Including tour costumes,
hand written lyrics, instruments and props. No date for the tour or the
auction have been set yet, but you better have lots of cash if you want
some of this stuff.
