And now for something completely stupid: N Syncs Justin Timberlake is being sued by a 15 year-old fan for an incident that occurred at a St Louis hotel following their November 19th concert according to a report by SonicNet.com.

John Wallach the attorney for the 15 year-old girl, Danielle McGuire, filed a lawsuit on December 18th that charges Timberlake with intentional infliction of distress and false imprisonment of a minor. A security guard was also included in the suit for alleged assault and battery.

Here is what the McGuire alleges: Following the N Sync show in St. Louis she was among a group of fans who went to the Chase Park Plaza hotel, in hopes of meeting the members of the boyband in the lobby. McGuire became upset with Timberlake when he was the only member of the boy group who failed to stop and talk to the fans before going up to their rooms. Out of anger she yelled at Timberlake, "I like JC better anyway, he's cuter." Then a security guard who was in the elevator with Timberlake approached her, asked her if she was one who yelled the comment. McGuire contends that when she answered that she was, the security guard instructed her to come with him. The security guard refused to let the girl inform her mother where she was going before escorting her upstairs.

Once upstairs, McGuire says that Timberlake backed her against a wall and started yelling at her because of her comment. While this was occurring a friend of McGuires told her mother that the girl had been taken upstairs. When security refused to let her upstairs to reclaim her daughter, she enlisted, family friend, local news anchor Randy Jackson to see if security would allow him to go upstairs.  Jackson told McGuires attorney, Wallach that once he was allowed to go upstairs he witnessed Timberlake yelling at Danielle McGuire. Once the irate singer saw Jackson he walked away in a limp claiming his leg hurt.

Wallach claims to had approached the N Sync camp in hopes of quietly resolving the disput but according to Wallach, 'NSync's lawyer told me they weren't interested." So it looks like a jury may ultimately decide if the reward of damages is in order.

Imagine what would have happened if Danielle had told Timberlake he looks like a poodle!
