Power-poppy alt-rockers Weezer have teamed up with Yahoo for a tour in early 2001.
Weezer will headline Yahoo�s Outloud Tour, which kicks off on Feb 21st in Austin Texas and concludes in San Diego, Ca on March 18th. At this moment confirmation of supporting bands has not yet been forthcoming, but among the names tossed around are The Get Up Kids.
Fans looking for tickets to the show are encouraged to visit the special site Yahoo has set up at http://outloud.yahoo.com, because these shows are selling out fast! If you purchase the tickets before Dec 31st at the Yahoo site you will receive $5 off the ticket price of $15, receive a limited edition Weezer ticket featuring special artwork plus a bonus commemorative gift from the band.
Fans should bookmark the Yahoo Outloud website and return during the tour for a special Digital Diary that will feature rehearsal footage, chats, auctions, webcasts and more.
