Good Friday may be it! The final KISS performance before the grease painted hard rock legends hang up their platform boots and take off the make up to sail into retirement.
KISS will embark on a five date tour of Australia March 29th in Perth concluding on Good Friday (April 13th) on the Gold Coast at the Carrara Stadium to an anticipated 35,000 fans. Organizers of the Gold Coast show are saying that this may well be the final KISS performance.
KISS kicked off their Farewell tour nine months ago on March 11th and so far have played a final farewell to 1,097,961 fans.
But if you have watched this farewell tour unwrap don't bank on the Gold Coast being the final date. Extensions, added dates, and reschedules are a common occurrence for the farewell tour. There is speculation that the band may return to the U.S. for a handful of dates and also the Land of the Rising Sun may find their Kabuki like heroes making a final swing through Japan in the New Year. The band originally planed to play a six date tour of Japan in November but those dates were canceled.
Here are the Australian dates:
3/29 - Perth - Burswood Dome
4/1 - Adelaide, Australia -
Hindmarsh Stadium
4/4 - Melbourne - Rod Laver
Arena
4/7 - Sydney - Sydney Superdome
4/13 - Gold Coast - Carrara
Stadium
