Epstein's Mother to open for the Goo Goo Dolls

EPSTEIN�S MOTHER receives a personal invitation from the Goo Goo Dolls to join them New Year�s Eve 2000 at the House of Blues Las Vegas as the opening act. 

Las Vegas band Epstein�s Mother will be the opening band for The Goo Goo Dolls on December 31st, 2000 at House of Blues (Mandalay Bay). Epstein�s Mother has received a personal invitation and thumbs up approval on their debut album �Subtle� from the Goo Goo Dolls Epstein�s Mother, a huge buzz band coming out of the Western United States with current spins on KOMP 92.3 for their single �Gone� are starting to see the rewards that go along with dedication and focus towards a prosperous future. 

It has been quite a year since EM�s album dropped on January 24th, 2000 and  the 1300 fans that packed the House of Blues on January 20th for the Release Party of their album �Subtle�. 

The band has since played radio shows for Mix 94.1 and KOMP 92.3 opening for such acts as Sister Hazel, Barenaked Ladies, Sugar Ray, Sammy Hagar, Train, Dexter Freebish, Paula Cole and more. 

EM has appeared on stage with Hootie and the Blowfish, Edwin McCain and AJ McClean of Backstreet Boys as part of a VH1special entitled �Fairway to Heaven� The band just taped a spot for Farmclub.com, a joint venture between Interscope Records� Co-Chairman Jimmy Iovine and Universal Records� Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Doug Morris. The taping will air for Farmclub on the USA Network some time after the holidays and the new year. 

The band has recorded two songs to be featured on compilation CD�s. A brand new song �Remedy� will be featured on the KOMP 92.3 compilation CD coming out this month. A cover song �Let It Snow� is the lead track on the Las Vegas Christmas CD with proceeds going to the charity Shade Tree. The CD is being distributed nationally through retail chains such as Virgin Megastore and Tower Records. Soundscan reports are showing significant sales on the East Coast.

Epstein�s Mother has just shot a music video for their single �Gone� which will be distributed to various television outlets online and offline. So look out for EM�s music video coming to a television set NEAR YOU. 

The band is also wrapping up finishing touches on a documentary for Rockjam where the band�s live performance at The Joint/Hard Rock was recently taped. Rockjams show format is similar to Real World meets Behind the Music and will offer viewers a fun, informative, and unique insiders look on what bands have to go through to make it in the competitive, entertaining, and sometimes-cutthroat world of rock music. The only downloadable rockumentary music show of its kind is hitting the road to uncover more great undiscovered bands. Epstein�s Mother is the feature band for Las Vegas, Nevada.
