Anthrax has also just inked a new management deal with Doug Goldstein's Big FD Entertainment. Goldstein is best known for his work in representing Guns n Roses. According to a report by MTV news Anthrax left their former representatives Concrete Management with the companies blessing. (Concrete Management also represents Pantera).
Anthrax has undergone some personnel shifting lately, as it stands the band is now comprised of John Bush, Frank Bello, Scott Ian and Charlie Benante.
The Anthrax lead guitarist slot at the moment remains unfilled. Both Dave "Snake" Sabo and Paul Crook played lead guitar with Anthrax during their recent tour in support of "Return of the Killer A's". Sabo is committed currently with Skid Row as they play opener on the KISS farewell tour. Crook remains a possible choice for Anthrax to take on the road this summer if the Sebastian Bach tour he is currently on wraps up in time.
It also looks like this news puts a damper on hopes for an Armored Saint reunion tour for the time being. John Bush has recorded a new album with his former band mates and fans were hoping for a summer tour as well.
On the Megadeth front it looks like Al Pitrelli from Savatage has been hired to replace Marty Friedman as lead axeman.
As
for the Crue? There are no new arrest to report from the Motley Crue camp
at this time. Stay tuned that can change in a moments notice.
