Metallica Stream Live Video From Paris Concert05-29-2019
(hennemusic) Metallica are streaming video of a performance their 2016 track, "Spit Out The Bone", from a May 12 show at Stade de France in Paris, France. The event marked the sixth and final show of the opening set of dates on a European tour, which will resume on June 8 when the group performs at Ireland's Slane Castle. "Spit Out The Bone" was the fifth single issued from the band's tenth album, "Hardwired...To Self-Destruct", which has been supported with an ongoing, multi-year WorldWired concert tour. Launched in the fall of 2016, the trek has grossed almost a quarter of a billion dollars worldwide, after earning $17.8 million in 2016, $152.8 million in 2017, and $67.3 million last year, according to live concert industry source Pollstar. Metallica's latest spring/summer concert series will wrap up in Mannheim, Germany in late August, following which they'll team up with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra to open the new Chase Center in San Francisco, CA on September 6.
