Eddie Money To Undergo Heart Surgery This Week05-29-2019
![]() AXS TV revealed on Tuesday that Eddie Money will be undergoing a "minimally invasive" heart valve procedure that was recommended after the 70-year-old rocker and reality TV star experienced shortness of breath. The network said that Money delayed the procedure that doctors wanted to perform last week, so that he could take part in his two events over the Memorial Day Weekend. Eddie will be having the procedure this week and is expected to return to the road in the middle of next month. This past Saturday, he helped launch the DTE Energy Music Theatre's 2019 summer concert season and he had the cut his performance short on Sunday in Arizona without an encore, after he experienced shortness of breath.
