Steven Tyler and Marilyn Manson Jam With Hollywood Vampires05-15-2019
![]() (hennemusic) The Hollywood Vampires were joined by a pair of special guests during their show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on May 11th and video of the jams have been shared online. The second date of the supergroup's west coast spring run saw, as Rolling Stone notes, Steven Tyler join his Aerosmith bandmate Joe Perry for the vintage 1951 track, "Train Kept A-Rollin'," while Manson delivered a rendition of Alice Cooper's 1970 hit, "I'm Eighteen." Led by Cooper, Perry and Johnny Depp, The Hollywood Vampires will release their second album, "Rise", on June 21. "Rise is not only a totally different animal than the first Vampires album, it is unique to anything I've ever been a part of," explains Cooper. "I approached it very differently than I usually do when working on an album. Each of us; Joe, Johnny, Tommy and myself have written songs on this album. What is different though is that I didn't try to change any songs to be more 'Alice-like.'" The group will wrap up their seven-date spring series in Indio, CA on May 18.
