Singled Out: Half The Animal's Babylon
. ![]() Laguna Beach band Half The Animal recently released their new EP "Shapes" and to celebrate we asked frontman Chase Johnson to tell us about the song "Babylon". Here is the story: 'Babylon' is a universally identifiable song. We all go through something(s) in life that seem like heaven at that time and end up crumbling right before us. Whether it be the struggle with drugs, booze, sex, family, love, etc. After I had been through the thick of it and came out the other end swinging, I wanted to share that with everyone so that they could relate to it. Our favorite part about 'Babylon' is that you can twist it any way you want as an individual. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the EP right here!
