Miley Cyrus Guest Hosts 'Ellen' Due To Degeneres Illness

(Radio.com) Miley Cyrus "dropped everything to host" Ellen Degeneres' daytime talk show Ellen when the dancing comedienne was too ill to tape the Thursday (Sept. 29) episode of the program.

Degeneres made the announcement on Twitter ("The bad news is I'm sick & can't tape my show today") and thanked Cyrus for filling in. At the taping, the 23-year-old singer danced onto the TV set clothed in a jeans jacket and joked, "I'll admit I'm a little bit nervous because I've never hosted a show with my clothes on before, so this is so weird."

In a preview, Cyrus told the crowd that she studied up for the show. "I know all of you came to see Ellen, so I'm gonna do my best to make you very happy. I'm dressed like her, I smell like her, just before I came out here I actually kissed a girl." Read more here.
