Vogue Gives George Michael's 'Freedom '90' Video A Facelift
. ![]() (Radio.com) On the 26th anniversary of George Michael's iconic music video "Freedom '90," the fashion world at the heart and center of that visual gets a major facelift thanks to Vogue and Instagram. The video originally starred supermodels Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Tatjana Patitz, who lip-synced Michael's song while he hid in the shadows and avoided being front and center. To celebrate the video's anniversary and New York Fashion Week, Vogue and Instagram teamed up to update the visual with a bevy of new beauties. Among the new supermodels featured in the video are Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, Anna Ewers, Irina Shayk and Taylor Hill, each sporting a look that comes straight from New York Fashion Week as they walk the Manhattan streets and lip-sync the song for a new generation. Whether doing a photo shoot in the park, dancing on a rooftop or riding around in the city, these supermodels bring a flare of color and energy to the new video. Read more here.
