Kanye West Takes High Road, Sidesteps Feud With Kid Cudi
. ![]() (Radio.com) When Kanye West gets riled up about something, watch out. So, when Kid Cudi took a pot shots at West, Drake and other hip-hop stars last week, it looked like the making of future diss tracks and major mudslinging. But it looks like Kanye's in a make-love-not-war frame of mind when it comes to Cudi. "I just wanted to take time out to say Kid Cudi is my brother," he said Tues night (Sept. 20) during his show at the Houston Toyota Center. He added that Cudi is "the most influential rapper of the past 10 years," and ended his comments by remarking, "I hope he's doing well." In his September 14 Twitter rant, Cudi said, "Everyone thinks they're soooo great. Talkin' top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them. 'My tweets apply to who they apply. 'Ye, Drake, whoever. These niggas don't give a f about me. And they aint fin with me." Watch Kanye's onstage comments and read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. advertisement |
