. ![]() (hennemusic) Bruce Springsteen will discuss his memoir, "Born To Run", with an extended interview on CBS-TV's The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Friday, September 23. Due September 27 via Simon & Schuster, the book sees the singer recount growing up in Freehold, NJ, his early days as a bar band king in Asbury Park, and the rise of the E Street Band. The New Jersey rocker has been privately writing his story over the past seven years, starting in 2009 after performing with the E Street Band at Super Bowl 43's halftime show in Tampa, FL.
