.
(Radio.com) Justin Timberlake's fashion line William Rast has announced its fall collection the pop star and his partner Trace Ayala discuss the way music influences style in a video promoting the new line. "To talk about the brand you have to understand where we grew up," says Timberlake. " "[Memphis is] obviously a huge historical music town, and Nashville right down the road is the cornerstone of country music, but Memphis is also the home of the blues and the birthplace of rock and roll." "It's gotta be a little bit country and it's gotta be a little bit rock n' roll at the same time," he continued. Timberlake sites Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley as style icons, "guys who were never really trying to be that, they just were that." Check out the video here.
