Drake Plans New Dance Club in Houston
. ![]() (Radio.com) Drake hosted "The Ballet," a pop-up dance club experience in Houston last Monday (September 5), one day after his Summer Sixteen Tour stop in the city. But apparently "The Ballet" isn't just going to be a one-time affair. In 2017, Drake will be opening a permanent dance club in Houston that sounds as though it will feature women dancing, but not in a strip club way. A fan attending the pop-up captured Drake announcing his latest endeavor. "This is about the fact that there's a culture out there of dancing and it's not about no strip club s," he said. "It's about these amazing women that we've got in one spot, this music that we've got, this Houston culture that we got. I just wanna let you know that I'm going to bring it to you in the most honest and genuine way possible." In a second Instagram post, Drake wrote about the pop-up event turned permanent dance club.
