Jane's Addiction Releasing Limited Edition Box Set
.
(hennemusic) Jane's Addiction will release a 6-LP vinyl box set, "Sterling Spoon," on October 21. Limited to 5,000 copies worldwide, the set brings together the band's 1990 classic, "Ritual de lo habitual", their 1988 studio debut "Nothing's Shocking", a demos and rarities collection "Kettle Whistle Extractions", and "Live At The Hollywood Palladium 1990." Among the outtakes is a version of "Been Caught Stealing", a hit single from 1990 that topped the US Modern Rock chart for four weeks after its original release. News of the project comes as Jane's Addiction wind down the Sterling Spoon North American tour to mark the 25th anniversary of the first Lollapalooza and the breakthrough success of the "Ritual..." album, which earned triple-platinum status in the US.
