Chris Brown Released On $250,000 Bail
. ![]() (Radio.com) Chris Brown has been released from jail on a $250,000 bail, after being arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, reports US Weekly. And he's refuting the charges. "Chris is out and well," tweeted Brown's attorney Mark Geragos. "The allegations against him are demonstrably false." The turbulence began after police received a 911 call from Miss California Regional 2016, Baylee Curran, alleging that the R&B bad boy pointed a gun at her during a party at his house because she was getting too close to his diamond cross necklace. 'I did not pick it up, I did not touch it, take it or grab it, anything to that sort," Curran says, according to US Weekly. 'Chris came in, pulled out his gun and said, 'I'm getting so sick of you people,' pointed the gun at me, [and told me] to get the 'F' out of the house." When Police arrived at Brown's California home, the performer entered a 14-hour standoff that ended after officers obtained a search warrant for the property. They subsequently arrested Brown.
