Taylor Swift The Focus Of Calvin Harris 'My Way' Video?
. ![]() (Radio.com) In Calvin Harris' new video for "My Way," his Taylor Swift breakup track, the producer traverses scenic landscapes with and without his distant, and literally shifty girlfriend. The clip is edited to simulate buffering glitches, and we watch the doomed relationship short circuit over four minutes. Those details would subtly evoke his recent history with Taylor, but the haywire editing made it possible to include some brief, direct visual references to her career. Apropos of nothing, his girlfriend is suddenly suspended mid-air in their foyer, dressed in a Fifth Element style bandeau. It's totally incongruous with the suburban, pedestrian backdrop except that Swift wore a similar outfit (and struck similar pose) in her video for "Bad Blood." In another shot, Harris and his girlfriend are seen dining at opposite ends of a long table, a setup Swift has favored in videos for "Blank Space" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." Is Harris putting Swift on blast? Watch the video and decide for yourself here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. advertisement |
