Bruno Mars To Open The American Music Awards
. ![]() Bruno Mars has been tapped to be the opening performer for the 2016 American Music Awards it was announced by the ABC television network and show producers dick clark productions. Mars will be taking the AMA stage for the very first time at the annual event, which is billed by organizers as "world's biggest fan voted" music awards shows. The show will be broadcast live on Sunday, November 20 at 8:00pm ET on ABC from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Mars had previously won the Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist award at the show back in 2011.
